For the next couple of posts, we are going to review six strategic benefits of using promotional products as a marketing tool.
The first benefit that we are going to tackle is the fact that promotional products are tangible and appreciated advertising. Think about this again for a minute... Promotional products are tangible and appreciated advertising. What other marketing mechanism elicits a response of "thank you"? How many times do you say "thank you" when another credit card advertisement comes in the mail? How many times do you say "thank you" when your favorite television program is interrupted by a commercial? From print to billboard to radio to television, a word to describe your response to when you are being marketed to would not often be "thank you".
However that is the response when you use promotioanl products as a marketing tool. When you give a client or a prospect a nice imprinted leather padfolio or a stainless steel travel mug, you receive a "thank you" in response. This marketing product that bears your name and logo is appreciated by the recipient. And not only is this marketing medium appreciated, it is tangible.
This is why we refer to promotional products as three dimensional marketing. No other form of marketing is truly three dimensional as promotional products are. This feature allows promotional products to not only advertise your business, but be a useful, tangible product for your client and prospect.
